Dessington IP handles all aspects of trade mark prosecution and litigation. This adds to our experience in registered designs and copyright to provide well rounded competence in any IP matters.

On the patent’s side, our technical qualifications and experience include mechanics, physics, metallurgy, materials, chemistry, biochemistry, and information technology. While our practice extends to the protection of any invention, we handle a fair amount of work relating to mining and mining machinery, pharmaceuticals, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer and Internet related inventions.

We believe in negotiation rather than litigation to seek win-win solutions to IP disputes. However, if a client’s interests so dictate, we do not hesitate to approach the courts for a final decision. This approach extends to the fields of unlawful competition and passing off, as well as to the remedies available under the Counterfeit Goods Act.
